Māori Land Court Archives. Te Whare Pūpuru kōrero o te Kōti whēnua Māori.

My search led me to the Wāikato University archives and all the Māori land minute books,
Because I had done a search through the internet Index book, the results told me that "Wētere Te Aho" would be found in the Mercer Minute Book 5 and I decided that I would do a search of land records. as in the links below.

Ngaparaihe was found on this block along with many other whānau.

Her father Wetere was found on this block

Te Mōrehu was found on these blocks.

I would like to add that this search has nothing to do with land, nor should it be,
one of the many reasons some whakapapa was kepted from families is because of the weakness of the Maori land court to decide the legitimate connection of some families to a particular piece of land therefore claims were made all over the place to the wrong families this happened to one of our tūpuna who shared a common name with another person and therefore that person for a while inherited her shares in land.
There have been big injustices to our family with land but not from pākeha but other whānau.
Therefore I will not touch on that issue as I'm not detracting from the kaupapa of my journey.
